Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. It provides the grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, teamwork and self-confidence.
Spotlight & JC offer classes and examinations in RAD Syllabus from Primary to Advanced1. From G6 examination upwards the students receive valuable UCAS points which can be added to university applications
We offer RAD ballet classes from the age 3 to Adult
Students start with the Pre-Primary or Primary levels which leads to eight Graded and six Vocational Graded levels. Students can move from Graded Examinations to Vocational Graded Examinations at an appropriate time, or they can study both pathways simultaneously.
Established in 1920 the Royal Academy of Dance offers an internationally recognized portfolio of examinations and assessments designed to encourage, motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities, outlining a progressive structure for learning and achievement in dance.
