Ellie is a Principal of Spotlight & JC School of Dance as well as one of the Dance Teachers.

Miss Ellie started dancing at age 3 at her local dance school and started with ballet lessons first and then later added tap, modern theatre and then Stagecoach Aylesbury at the age of 5. At the age of 11 she successfully auditioned for a place at Tring Park on their associate programme where she took lessons in Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre all the way up to and including Advanced 1 level.

Ellie then went on to study at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) on their BA(hons) Ballet Education programme and also took the Licentiate of the RAD alongside her degree to gain my RAD Registered Teacher Status. While Ellie was at university, she also completed her Imperial Society of Teachers on Dancing (ISTD) Diploma of Dance Educations in Tap and Modern Theatre.  In 2020 she then went on to study for a Masters Degree in Performance Practice, Dance Technique Pedagogy, where she focused on the teaching of Ballet and how supplementary training can aid ballet technique.
From a very young age, Ellie wanted to teach dance after being inspired by all the teachers that taught her over the years and now loves being able to do her dream job.
