Spotlight Show dress rehearsal
Yesterday we ran the whole show at the dress rehearsal at JFK school. The dancers did so well and the costumes looked great! The little ones were so cute whilst the older dancers were very composed and professional. Everybody worked together as a team and its all coming together nicely. We can’t wait for the show next weekend, May 11th & 12th at The Radlett Centre in Radlett. Come and join us!
Sisterhood and Level Up have recently competed
Sisterhood and Level Up have recently competed at UDO Peterborough. They loved the experience and did very well. We were very pleased with them. Tia, Emily ,Sam and Lindon, the choreographers, did a fantastic job and the girls and boys did them proud. Up to the next comp!
ABC of dance- Spotlight Show 2018
The first Spotlight show under new management was a great success. The dancers performed beautifully, the costumes were stunning and the choreography first class. It was the first time we used The Radlett Centre and the staff were extremely helpful and the lighting was excellent. Altogether a very successful event to be repeated next year on May 11th & 12th. Put the date in your diaries, please!
Run-through at JFK
Her is another picture of our dress rehearsal at jfk school last Sunday, this time of the younger tap dance group. They are dancing to Hey Mickey and the red costumes will look good under stage lighting. These dancers have been working so hard on getting the rhythms right as Gopi, the choreographer of this piece, doesn’t make it too easy for them. All the dancers have been sent the music to practice at home. It will look good on the night!
We had our first dress rehearsal last Sunday in the school hall at JFK school in Hemel Hempstead. All the costumes looked fab and really enhanced the choreography. The picture is of a jazz dance choreographed by Rachael and it’s from the film “dream girls” hence the gold dresses. They will look lovely under stage lighting and the dancers can’t wait to perform next weekend at the Radlett Centre in Radlett.
