• Annual show in the Autumn term
• School Fetes and Fairs
We also offer Ballet, Tap & Street Dance classes for adults who are looking for a fun way to exercise in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with the added benefit of keeping fit. No previous dance experience is necessary, just the willingness to give it a go.
Classes & Exams
Our students are encouraged to take exams in RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern & Tap.
Examinations are not compulsory, however, they give the students a goal and a great sense of achievement.
Exams are a valuable base on which to record successes and progress, they help pupils to grow in confidence and self-esteem and aid the students’ development by encouraging teamwork, dedication and creativity.
At the teachers’ discretion, pupils are invited to enter for Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing examinations. Valuable UCAS points can be earned from G6 upwards
Other options offered are
• RAD Class Awards
• RAD Solo Performance Awards
Where one class per week is taken, a second weekly coaching class must be taken in the term of the exam in order to reach the very high standards set by the accrediting bodies of the RAD and ISTD.
Private dance lessons are also available upon request.
