Rachael began dancing at the age of three and studied Ballet, Tap, modern, freestyle, national, jazz and disco at the Lynne Chilver School of dance.

She attended Uxbridge college and graduated with 3 distinctions in Dance BTEC before moving on to study dance and dance pedagogy at the Margaret Howard Theatre College in Bushey. There she gained qualifications in Modern and Tap and later went onto complete her ballet, freestyle and performing arts qualifications.

Rachael has also performed in a wide variety of musicals and professional pantomimes and she has toured with various danced companies. She has danced with the National Youth Ballet, performed at the Royal Opera House, competed in hundreds of competitions and reached the All England Finals on more than one occasion.

Rachael loves to choreograph and has choreographed for local bands, charity events, dance shows and musicals, her favourite was choreographing a flash mob for Tesco to raise money for Diabetes. She also currently choreographs the street and jazz routines for the annual Spotlight School of Dance shows.

She has now been teaching professionally for 12+ years and has taught at Spotlight for nearly 8 years. Rachael loves challenging herself and her pupils and encourages her students to grow as performers.
